In Matthew 18:2-3, Jesus employs a child as an illustration of the faith necessary to enter the Kingdom of God. He proclaims, “In truth, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never be granted access to the kingdom of heaven.”
Children embody a straightforward and unwavering faith, devoid of the skepticism and cynicism that often accompany adulthood. To attain entry into the Kingdom, we must approach God with a humble and childlike faith, accompanied by genuine repentance.
